Nelle marine di Scatizzi spesso il mare non è l’unico e solo protagonista.

Il blu diviene la mèta di un percorso in cui l’autore ci prende per mano e ci mostra altro prima di arrivare verso l’intensità di quell’azzurro.

Qui troviamo perciò la terra, fertile e scura, che si unisce in primo piano al candore dorato dell’erba ingiallita dal sole.

In questo percorso per assaporare pienamente il gusto del salmastro, dobbiamo destreggiarsi in questa radura disomogenea fatta di fruscii.

L’estensione davanti a noi diventa di un candore sublime, come se si trattasse di una parentesi di sabbia che ci avvolge nel suo tiepido abbraccio.

Il desiderio quindi si concretizza all’orizzonte, la cui limpidezza fa sì che l’intensità del mare si sposi con l’azzurro del cielo, ed insieme, come in un abbraccio idilliaco, paiono non volersi staccare ma bensì procedere all’unisono verso l’eternità sopra di loro.

In Scatizzi‘s seascapes, the sea is often not the sole protagonist.

The blue becomes the destination of a journey in which the artist takes us by the hand and shows us other things before we arrive at the intensity of that blue.

Here, therefore, we find the fertile, dark earth, which blends in the foreground with the golden whiteness of the grass yellowed by the sun.

On this journey to fully savour the taste of the sea, we must navigate this uneven clearing filled with rustling sounds.

The expanse before us becomes sublimely white, as if it were a stretch of sand enveloping us in its warm embrace.

Desire then materialises on the horizon, whose clarity allows the intensity of the sea to blend with the blue of the sky, and together, as in an idyllic embrace, they seem unwilling to part but rather to proceed in unison towards the eternity above them.
