Ogni giorno veniamo subissati dal dolore, dal brulicare di pensieri di odio che paiono moltiplicarsi fino ad avere la sensazione che tutto intorno a noi venga fagocitato sempre più da un costante senso di disumanizzazione.

In questo scenario che prende pieghe sempre più drammatiche, a parer nostro, dovremmo ripartire dall’apprezzare le piccole cose che il nostro quotidiano ancora ci regala.

Il profumo del pane appena sfornato, la lettura di un buon libro, un tramonto, l’abbraccio di un affetto caro, l’amore incondizionato di un animale domestico.

L’arte serve anche a questo, a riconnetterci con quella umanità che troppo spesso pare scivolare via, e riscoprire, attraverso essa, la dolcezza della genuina meraviglia per la bellezza autentica che dimora nell’animo dei bambini e di chi come loro riesce ancora ad aprire il cuore alla scoperta.

Every day we are overwhelmed by pain, by swarming thoughts of hatred that seem to multiply until we feel that everything around us is increasingly engulfed by a constant sense of dehumanisation.

In this scenario, which is taking an increasingly dramatic turn, in our opinion, we should start again by appreciating the little things that our daily lives still offer us.

The smell of freshly baked bread, reading a good book, watching the sunset, the embrace of a loved one, the unconditional love of a pet.

Art also serves this purpose, to reconnect us with the humanity that too often seems to slip away, and to rediscover, through it, the sweetness of genuine wonder for the authentic beauty that dwells in the souls of children and those who, like them, are still able to open their hearts to discovery.
