Spesso ci capita di sentire o leggere dualismi o paragoni tra case d’asta e galleria d’arte, le due facce della stessa medaglia per molti.

Questo non è propriamente vero, ma questa non è la sede per poter dare i giusti distinguo. 

Non siamo certo qui per sminuire o elogiare i due approcci all’arte, perché in entrambi si possono trovare pro e contro, è bene però in entrambi i casi scegliere la serietà e la preparazione, caratteristiche non così scontate al giorno d’oggi.

Noi su questi due elementi ci abbiamo costruito una attività più che trentennale ed ogni giorno ci impegniamo per migliorarci.

La nostra è una galleria “vecchio stampo”, come amiamo definirci, perciò noi difendiamo i nostri autori e cerchiamo nel nostro piccolo di portarne avanti la memoria, dettaglio ormai sempre meno in voga.

We often hear or read dualisms or comparisons between auction houses and art galleries, the two sides of the same coin for many.

This is not strictly true, but this is not the place to make the necessary distinctions.

We are certainly not here to belittle or praise the two approaches to art, because there are pros and cons to be found in both, but in both cases it is a good idea to choose seriousness and preparation, characteristics that are not so obvious nowadays.

We have built more than 30 years of activity on these two elements, and every day we strive to improve.

Ours is an ‘old-fashioned’ gallery, as we like to call ourselves, so we defend our authors and try in our own small way to carry on their memory, a detail that is becoming less and less fashionable.
