Spesso ci viene chiesto, forse anche a livello provocatorio, cosa sia per noi l’arte.

Nella nostra trentennale esperienza, senza volerci ergere a giudici di quello che sta verificandosi nel panorama nazionale ed internazionale, dato che non siamo critici, possiamo però rispondere in base al nostro gusto ed a quel poco che siamo riusciti a trarre dai nostri anni di attività e di studio.

L’arte, indipendentemente dalla rappresentazione o dal periodo in cui è stata concepita, deve trasmetterci qualcosa.

Un alito di vita che ci viene trasmesso dal creatore, il quale tramuta le sue composizioni in messaggi in grado di essere colti da chi ha la sensibilità per recepirli.

Non tutti possono essere artisti, sebbene là fuori vi sia uno stuolo di chi si farà pagare per professare ciò.

È più complesso accettare di essere bravi illustratori, e quindi fare un umile passo indietro, che bearsi delle frivolezze di un ambiente complesso che preferisce raccontare belle bugie anziché tristi verità.

We are often asked, perhaps even provocatively, what art means to us.

In our thirty years of experience, without wanting to set ourselves up as judges of what is happening on the national and international scene, given that we are not critics, we can however respond based on our taste and on the little we have managed to glean from our years of activity and study.

Art, regardless of its representation or the period in which it was conceived, must convey something to us.

A breath of life transmitted to us by the creator, who transforms his compositions into messages that can be understood by those who have the sensitivity to receive them.

Not everyone can be an artist, although there are plenty of people out there who will charge you for professing to be one.

It is more difficult to accept that we are good illustrators, and therefore take a humble step back, than to revel in the frivolities of a complex environment that prefers to tell beautiful lies rather than sad truths.
