Nell’immaginario collettivo le nature morte o i paesaggi, forse anche a causa di retaggi in un certo qual modo “classisti” dell’arte antica, sono considerate espressioni artistiche meno impegnate rispetto all’arte sociale o di denuncia politica.

Bisogna però provare a fare un ulteriore passo in avanti per quanto riguarda la comprensione di una poetica più sottile e meno immediata.

Il linguaggio artistico non si compone di compartimenti stagni ma sovente si avvale di metafore, attraverso le quali trasmettere visioni non così immediate.

Troviamo perciò un languore sussurrato in queste gerbere dai toni squillanti, che paiono volerci ammaliare attraverso quei rapidi e frenetici tocchi in grado di far vibrare di vita un qualcosa che sta già appassendo.

Borgianni sapeva cogliere quel bello autentico della vita, riuscendocelo a trasmettere attraverso occhi genuini e mano vivace.

In the collective imagination, still lifes and landscapes, perhaps due to the somewhat “classist” legacy of ancient art, are considered less committed artistic expressions than social art or political protest art.

However, we must try to take a further step forward in understanding a more subtle and less immediate poetics.

Artistic language is not made up of separate compartments but often uses metaphors to convey visions that are not so immediate.

We therefore find a whispered languor in these brightly coloured gerberas, which seem to want to enchant us through those rapid and frenetic touches capable of making something that is already withering vibrate with life.

Borgianni knew how to capture the authentic beauty of life, conveying it to us through his genuine eyes and lively hand.
