In questo dipinto la luna esercita una attrazione dalle connotazioni quasi magiche, per non dire mistiche.

Le balze verdeggianti diventano liquide come un mare impetuoso che tende disperatamente verso il satellite in grado di plasmarne le maree, senza mai riuscirci.

Siamo quindi spettatori di come la distesa erbosa perda quella placida compostezza e prenda vita sotto le lunghe dita del vento che pare trasformarla come fossero alghe mosse dai flutti.

Una luna capace di mettere in subbuglio la compostezza a cui questi luoghi ci hanno abituato.

Pure il cielo assume un andamento concentrico, come risucchiato dall’attrazione lunare.

Un fremito che permea l’intera scena e ci trasmette una concitazione capace di smuovere quei canonici interrogativi cui ogni uomo giunge prima o poi, riguardo la propria esistenza ed integrità.

In this painting, the moon exerts an attraction with almost magical, not to say mystical, connotations.

The verdant waves become liquid like a stormy sea desperately striving towards the satellite capable of shaping its tides, without ever succeeding.

We are therefore spectators of how the grassy expanse loses its placid composure and comes to life under the long fingers of the wind, which seems to transform it as if it were seaweed moved by the waves.

A moon capable of disrupting the composure to which these places have accustomed us.

Even the sky takes on a concentric pattern, as if sucked in by the moon’s gravitational pull.

A thrill permeates the entire scene and conveys an excitement capable of stirring those canonical questions that every man sooner or later comes to ask about his own existence and integrity.
